Open Call for Urban Interventions Projects is an international contest of ideas aiming to select 2 projects of temporary urban interventions for 180 Creative Camp.

The contest is looking for urban strategies and creative approaches on the public space and intends to explore the role of different artistic fields as a form of mobilizing and stimulating contemporary towns.

The contest is directed to teams or individuals from different creative fields, who are expected to create ephemeral concepts and structures to encourage the appropriation of public spaces in the historical center of the town of Abrantes, Portugal, by the local community. Ideas for projects may be presented trough architectural practices, installations, actions, happenings or temporary urban interventions.

The 2 selected projects will be constructed and experienced in the public space in the town of Abrantes.
