Unity Temple Restoration Foundation presents new teen and youth programs

We see fractal geometry everywhere — in nature (plants, clouds, sea shells, even lightning), in music (Bach, Beethoven, and the Beatles), and especially in the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. We’ll take teens on a fractal journey with hands-on-activities, labs, and workshops. First, we’ll observe fractals in nature. Next, we will apply this knowledge to hands-on activities in geometry, botany, and architecture. On our final day, campers will build a massive fractal sculpture in Unity Temple, complementing Wright’s architecture. Instructor: Emily Finchum, science teacher at Lane Tech High
