Twin States Conference

The 2014 Mississippi – Alabama ASLA Twin States Conference will be held March 13-15, 2014 in Oxford, Mississippi. The conference theme this year is “Landscape Architecture – shaping our culture”. The three day conference includes a vendor exhibition, lectures for professional continuing education and networking opportunities. Most of our audience includes landscape architects from the southeast (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida) – all of which practice in different areas…some private practice, public practice, city and state government, developers, etc. Last year the conference was held in Orange Beach, AL and we had approximately ninety attendees. We also extend invitations to city officials, planners, architects, engineers, etc. – not just landscape architects to participate in our conferences. The Twin States Conference was founded in 2008, to provide continuing education, networking, and exposure of the landscape architecture profession to civic, community leaders, and landscape architecture students – at a minimum cost.
