SCI-Arc Lecture: Antόn Garcίa-Abril – The Big Bang

Antón García-Abril, Ph.D. is an architect and professor at the MIT School of Architecture & Planning. He has been associate professor at ETSAM-UPM, and invited professor at Harvard Graduate School of Design and Cornell University, among other academic institutions. In 2000, García-Abril established ENSAMBLE STUDIO, developing projects that reflect the experimental and structural research of the practice. His built works include the Music Studies Center and the SGAE Central Office in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, Martemar House in Malaga and The Truffle in Laxe, Spain, the Hemeroscopium House and the Reader’s House in Madrid, and Cervantes Theater in Mexico City.
