inCONVERSATION | Los Angeles Boulevards with Doug Suisman and David Kipen

Doug Suisman, author of Los Angeles Boulevards: Eight Xrays, addresses how the city’s urban identity flows from the growth and expansion of its main arteries. Streets, not parks, plazas or freeways, are the city’s public spaces. Can the city’s soul can be found along the broad, long, endlessly travelled boulevards? Urban Designer Doug Suisman joins in conversation with David Kipen, author of reissues of WPA Guide to California, WPA Guide to Los Angeles, and owner of Libros Schmibros Bookstore Tuesday July 2nd from 6 to 8 pm at A+D Museum.
