Frank Lloyd Wright’s Marin County Civic Center: Past, Present and Future

In partnership with the AIA and as part of the month-long “Architecture and the City” Festival, this special architectural tour and panel discussion will be held at the Board of Supervisors chambers at the Marin Civic Center on Tuesday September 17th. The reception and panel discussion will start at 6:00pm. Moderating the panel is John King, Architecture and Urbanism writer for the SF Chronicle. The speaker panel includes: Professor Paul Turner, former chair of the art department at Stanford University; Supervisor Steve Kinsey, architect and Marin County Supervisor; Mark Cavagnero, FAIA, and Manuela King, principal with RHAA Landscape architects. There will be optional guided tours of the Civic Center preceding the panel, beginning at 4pm. The tours are $5 per person and there is a suggested donation of $5 for the panel discussion and reception.
