CITYLAW Breakfast w/Carl Weisbrod, Chairman of the New York City Planning Commission

CityLaw’s Breakfast series resumes with Carl Weisbrod, chairman of the New York City Planning Commission and director of the Department of City Planning. Weisbrod will discuss the legal mechanisms needed to achieve the Mayor’s planning agenda. With more than 35 years of experience serving the people of New York City, Weisbrod has had a distinguished career that extends back to the Lindsay administration, which he joined as a young lawyer at the Department of Relocation.

Anthony Crowell, Dean of New York Law School and former counselor to Mayor Bloomberg, will give the introduction. RSVP preferred.

CityLaw breakfasts are held six times a year at New York Law School and feature prominent speakers discussing current government and political issues. They are free and open to the public. The events are broadcast by NYC Media cable television throughout the five boroughs and webcast at www.nyls.edu. Sponsors of the breakfasts include Consolidated Edison, Verizon, and Greenberg Traurig.
