“Born[e] to Build”
On April 24, 2014 Architecture for Health in Vulnerable Environments, ARCHIVE Global, hosts the “Born[e] to Build” event. at the sophisticated Hafele Showroom located in NYC’s Flatiron District. Industry Leaders will gather for a night of passed hors d’ouerves, full open bar and a special ARCHIVE presentation. Planned to coincide with World Malaria Day April 25th, the event will earmark projects in Cameroon reducing the burden of malaria as well as highlight ARCHIVE goals for the future.
In Cameroon, Malaria is responsible for 40% of deaths of children under five and 35% of all deaths in health facilities. Your presence at our event will support global efforts in reducing the burden of disease in vulnerable environments. ARCHIVE ’s most recent projects include Dhaka, Bangladesh, where floors are redesigned and built to prevent diarrheal diseases among children under 5 years of age. In Yaoundé, Cameroon, we are redesigning homes to reduce the transmission of malaria among pregnant women and children.
