The Northeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association (NELMA*) is sponsoring a design contest for students currently enrolled in an accredited architecture program to design a modern sustainable structure featuring Eastern White Pine.

GOAL

Feature the use of Eastern White Pine (Pinus strobus) as part of a sustainable modern structure. We’re looking for dialogue inspiring, future-predicting, forward-thinking designs. Well managed forests provide a supply of beautiful, strong and infinitely renewable building materials. Help us imagine a more sustainable future while featuring Eastern White Pine.
