DESIGN COMPETITION FOR A FAMOUS MIT SCIENCE PROFESSOR!
This is a call for participation! The Design Competition for a MIT Science Professor is seeking design concepts for a home renovation and remodeling project.
PROBLEM:
Early 1950’s construction. Need more living and storage space. 2nd floor has steep roof with cathedral ceilings that severely constrains usable space. The competition seeks entries following a reserved contemporary style of architectural design approach.
DELIVERABLES:
(1) GROUND PLAN VIEW: Scale 1/4″-1′ (or 1/50)
(1) UPPER FLOOR PLAN VIEW: Scale 1/4″-1′ (or 1/50)
(2) SECTION/ELEVATION VIEWS: : Scale 1/4″-1′ (or 1/50) – one through the dormer addition on upper floor
(X)PERSPECTIVE/AXONOMETRIC VIEWS: showing mudroom/kitchen, master bedroom, new rooms on upper floor.
