L.A. is an online journal of writing and building for Lebanon and the immediate region with the aim of creating a constructive discourse about the state and realities of its architecture and the related design disciplines. From theoretical/historical anxieties to technological development to pure building details L.A. is first and foremost grounded in the production of architecture.

L.A. accepts submissions of projects, essays and response essays to articles published on its site. All materials are subject to editorial review and an external mediation. All articles and projects shall relate to L.A.’s mission statement. L.A. also welcomes essays and projects by natives practicing around the world.
