Bispebjerg Hospital Masterplan Competition
The Capital Region of Denmark hereby announces a design contest for a Master Plan comprising New Hospital and New Psychiatry Bispebjerg. The goal is to develop a Master Plan for disposition and development of the present hospital area in order to establish new and modern settings for the future general hospital and psychiatric facilities servicing a significant part of the Copenhagen city area. The area will consist of an integration of existing and new buildings and must relate to the surrounding city in a harmonious and future-oriented manner. The Master Plan will provide a framework for an efficient hospital which also appears as an attractive setting for patients, employees, neighbours, etc.
The design contest is scheduled to run from the middle of November 2011 until the middle of January 2012, and is expected to announce 1 -3 winners, who will be invited to participate in a subsequent negotiated procedure.
