Spotlight on Design: Toyo Ito

The innovative work of the 2013 Pritzker Prize Laureate Toyo Ito defies any single descriptor. In this translated program, the principal of Toyo Ito & Associates, Architects discusses his design philosophy and remarkable work, including the Sendai Mediatheque in Miyagi, Japan; Tokyo’s Tama Art University Library; and the Tod’s Omotesando Building in Tokyo. This program is presented as part of Architecture Week.
