Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) invites you to a one-day AIA-accredited educational seminar aimed at helping you with the planning and expansion of your campus. Planners, architects, and developers of large building portfolios face multiple challenges as they strive to meet the diverse needs of their constituents and stakeholders. Throughout the day, presentations will discuss the future of campus design and impact of current design trends in the context of these issues.

This information-packed event will include a highly anticipated HIGHER EDUCATION DESIGN-AND-CONSTRUCTION PANEL with experts from industry-leading firms. This afternoon panel session, titled The Iconic Campus: Architecture to Anchor Universities and to Lead Them Forward will be moderated by Bill Menking, Editor-in-Chief of The Architect’s Newspaper, and will include a panel of executives from Faithful + Gould, Sciame, Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, Snøhetta, and Vanderweil. Topics of discussion will include the challenges of iconic building design, planning for the virtual/global campus, and strategies for sustainable design.
