Reading the Streetscape

An introduction to looking at and analyzing the city’s architecture for the adult general public. Learn how to “read” buildings for information about their age, use, design and what they can tell us about a neighborhood’s growth and development. Participants will be introduced to key elements of design and how to look at the city’s architecture from a design perspective through an interactive slide talk and neighborhood walk.
