Opening Reception: Currents in Green Infrastructure: Designs for a Sustainable New York City

Green Infrastructure has been growing throughout New York City, in parks, roadways and private property. Its impetus has come from many places, including city initiatives, responsiveness to climate change and site performance. This exhibition explores installations that are enhanced by their green infrastructure components, and in turn enhance the neighborhoods surrounding them. Projects on display include Brooklyn Bridge Park, Bushwick Inlet Park, and Queens Plaza, among others.
