METALCON International 2014

Since the first METALCON International was held in 1991 in Washington DC, it has remained the only annual trade show and conference focused on the application of metal in industrial, institutional, light commercial and residential projects. Each year it brings together architects, engineers, builders, designers, specifiers, developers, building owners, and government officials from more than 52 countries. It is unique in the service it provides to this vibrant industry and in show management’s ability to always provide new features that highlight the latest products, technologies and trends.

METALCON showcases the best of everything this industry has to offer from the latest products and ideas to a highly rated education program and a variety of live demonstrations of field techniques. Trends in the industry are covered in every aspect. The use of metal in building projects is increasing, particularly for retrofit, insulated metal panels and cold-formed steel framing. Specialists present education sessions on these topics and in live demos held inside the exhibit hall. The value of metal in sustainable design and green building continues to increase. This is highlighted in Green Island, an area of the exhibits dedicated to metal products used in building energy-saving structures, and in Solar Bay, a special pavilion that showcases the benefits of integrating solar technology with metal roof and wall systems. We also offer Learning Units/HSW’s/PE’s from our conferences and seminars.
