Massimiliano Fuksas: Et in arcadia ego

Massimiliano Fuksas will be one of the guest keynote speakers at the AIA Ohio 2012 Convention, taking place in Cleveland, September 12–15. The internationally acclaimed architect, founder of Studio Fuksas, one of the two most prolific firms in Italy with projects all around the world, heads the Rome-based practice and has worked on designs ranging from retail space to urban master plans. Focused on exploring spatial and formal problem solving, Fuksas’ projects, exhibitions, and products communicate bold elements with innovative and contemporary design. This lecture will focus on several of Fuksas’ most recently completed projects, as well as on some currently under construction. Presented in partnership with AIA Ohio, the Consulate of Italy in Detroit, the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago, and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
