Grand Central Terminal and the Legacy of Warren and Wetmore

From the turn of the twentieth century into the 1930s, Grand Central’s architects Whitney Warren and Charles Wetmore formed one of the most successful and prolific architectural practices in the United States. Anthony W. Robins, author of the Museum’s newest book, Grand Central Terminal: 100 Years of a New York Landmark, leads this tour of the Terminal’s classically-rendered arched windows and the defining Beaux-Arts ornamentation and color details of the Main Concourse.
