Young Architects in Africa

For the 14th International Architecture Biennale, the CA’ASI is holding an architectural competition which will highlight the dynamic young African architecture. CA’ASI will open the doors of Palazzo Santa Maria Nova to emerging African architects in order to emphasize the creativity and originality of new African architecture, and  to help it gain world-wide recognition.


Have a maximum experience of 15 years as an architect and be a Citizen of an African country outside the Arab League (a prior competition was held in 2012).

A diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or a Fine Arts school diploma is compulsory.

The age limit is set at 45 years old.

Applicants may submit up to three projects, but all three must have a different subject.
