The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) is pleased to announce its 3rd International Student Tall Building Design Competition, which shares the theme of the 2014 CTBUH Shanghai Conference – Towards Sustainable Vertical Urbanism. The goal of the competition is to shed new light on the meaning and value of tall buildings in modern society.

The competition is open to all university level students and asks them to submit their tall building designs that balance innovative and radical designs with the realities of skyscraper design (structural considerations, vertical transportation, etc.). Registration in the competition is free. The selected top-five Finalists will be flown to Shanghai to present their schemes in person to the jury at the CTBUH 2014 Conference and compete for cash prizes.
