The Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil will present a retrospective of the Richard Meier’s most emblematic works. Iconic projects such as the Smith House, The Getty Center, and the High Museum of Art will be exhibited. Also on display are unbuilt competition proposals for the World Trade Center Memorial, the New York Avery Fisher Hall, and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, as well as ongoing projects in Mexico. Meier writes in a statement, “Mexico City is an amazing and fascinating city full of history and great architecture. It is a pleasure and honor to have our work on display in a city where we are about to start several new architectural projects.”
